Struggling to sit down and

Write?

Proven to help overwhelmed, busy writers like you…

Does this sound familiar?

Whether you’re drafting a new project, revising an old one, or simply trying to show up consistently… our free writing accountability group is here to help you sit down and write.

I started this free co-writing group so I had a built-in, non-negotiable excuse to write.

I knew if I promised others a space to sit down and write every week, there was no way I’d let them down.

It worked.  We’ve been writing together for over six years now.

We are…

Most importantly, we are poets, essayists, novelists, and memoirists writing across all genres.

We are writers showing up, week after week, and making progress on our writing.

This space has helped countless writers move forward—and now, it’s here for you.

Write with us. Transform your writing practice from sporadic to consistent.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a co-writing group?

A co-writing group is a structured, writing accountability group where writers gather to focus on their individual projects. It’s about showing up, dedicating time to your craft, and creating alongside a community of like-minded writers.

In this space, we write together during timed sessions designed to foster creativity, connection, and accountability—without interruptions or distractions.

Co-writing is not a critique session or a place to read your work aloud, nor will you be given writing prompts. Instead, it’s a judgment-free zone where you can work on what matters most to you, whether that’s drafting, revising, or exploring new ideas.

We write together every…

  • Tuesday, 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM | ET
  • Thursday, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM | ET

It’s completely free! This space is designed to support writers without financial barriers.

It’s for all writers—published or unpublished, seasoned or brand-new. As long as you’re looking for a space to focus and make progress, you’ll fit right in

Late arrivals are always welcome. You can slide in quietly, share your goals in the chat, and jump right into writing.

That’s completely okay! The co-writing space is designed to be flexible—you’re welcome to join for as long as you’re able. Whether you stay for the full session or just part of it, you’ll still benefit from the structure and support of writing alongside others.

Not at all! You can attend as often as works for you—whether that’s weekly, monthly, or whenever you need the extra focus and support.

No problem—co-writing is easy to jump into! You’ll settle in with a brief centering exercise, set your intentions, and write during the focused time. It’s flexible and welcoming to everyone.

Not at all! Whether you’re working on a novel, drafting essays, writing blogs or newsletters, or exploring new ideas, this space is open to any type of writing and writer.

Each session lasts about 90 minutes. We start with a check-in and centering exercise, write for 70 minutes, and wrap up with a brief check-out.

Just bring yourself, your writing tools (like a laptop, notebook, or pen), and your project—or even just an idea you want to explore.
